I’m not sure where the time has gone. It has been almost a couple of months since I have made any real progress on the site. Summer is almost upon us and I still have not loaded all the Best Rings Tours up yet. I need to allocate more time…

THE BEST LORD OF THE RINGS TOURS IN NEW ZEALAND
Why all the best Lord of the Rings Tours online?
After selling my Lord of the Rings Tour company I was looking for an online hobby. I wanted to use my skills to help people as they traveled New Zealand. What could I do? Where was a service lacking? Who could I help?Important questions...
My answer was this website. During my years operating tours I have seen many inferior companies come and go. Many companies add locations onto existing tours, without actually providing a worthwhile Lord of the Rings Tour experience. Tourists talk. Too each other and other Rings Tour operators.
There are Lord of the Rings Tour professionals, backed up by public opinion out there. My new hobby is to cluster all the best Rings Tours here to provide a database for LOTR locations around New Zealand, and to help travelers on their journey to Middle Earth. "Frodo: Where are you taking us?. Aragorn: Into the wild."
Hobbiton Movie Set and Tours
The Hobbiton Moive Set is a very special place, with some fantastic stories to tell. The words of Tolkien conjured up a special world in the minds of readers of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Peter Jackson and his scouts spent a long time searching for the perfect location to be Hobbiton. They found the perfect place on sheep farm in rural Matamata. Gentle rolling farmland, a lake and the party tree, all perfectly laid out waiting for the contruction Bag end and the other hobbit holes.Construction started in March 1999 and three months filming commenced in December that year. The New Zealand Army built 1.5 km of road into the site, 37 hobbit holes were created, the Mill and double arch bridge were built out of scaffolding. Hobbiton was brought to life...
Once filming finished the set was mostly removed. Thanks to the arrival of Rings fans wanting to get close to the movie set, tours have started up and today you can visit the Hobbiton Movie Set.
THE BEST TOURS IN WELLINGTON
Wellington is very important for the Lord of the Rings story. Home to Peter Jackson, Richard Taylor and the studios that created the movie magic, Wellington also became a second home to the actors. Home also to many different locations throughout the diverse landscapes found in the Wellington region.Wellington Rover Tours have ful and half day tours that not only visit loations but get you into the behind the scenes stories. Thier guides are huge LOTR fans and the tours have been designed to visit the best locations not just the most.
Whilst your'e in Wellington do one of the Rover Rings Tours, visit the Embassey theatre, check out the Weta Cave, get yourself a elven tattoo and toast to more good times at one of the bars popular with the actors.
THE BEST TOUR IN CHRISTCHURCH
The Edoras location became one of the cast and crews favourite locations during filming.Journey to the remote and beautiful Mt Potts high country station, home of Mt Sunday; and see how this peaceful mountain was transformed into Edoras, the capital city of the Rohan peopleHassle Free Tours was started by Nikki and Mark Gilbert in 2003. They have develped a range of tours and there Edoras Tour very quickly became the best Rings Tour in the region. the four wheel drive experiences allows you to immerse yourself in the natural, unspoilt beauty of this breathtaking area with its sparkling clear lakes, glistening blue rivers and fresh, crisp mountain air. the Rohan set is gone but the incredible scenery and stories remain.
Take a short guided walk to stand on the summit of Edoras and enjoy as Eowyn did, the breathtaking 360º views.
